MAYVILLE- Sandra Sue Beadle Chandler, 86, of Mayville, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility in Greenhurst, NY. She was born January 9, 1938, in Jamestown, NY.

Sandra was a 1955 graduate of Westfield and Academy Central School. She had worked as an Office Manager at the Growers CO-OP in Westfield, NY for over thirty years, and had also been a bank teller in Westfield for several years.

She was a member of the Westfield Moose, the Lake Chautauqua VFW Post 8647 and an Auxiliary member of the William L. Travis Mayville American Legion Post 493. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, traveling with the senior citizens and spending time with her family.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband and companion of seventy years, Emerson B. Chandler, whom she married July 6, 1957, three daughters; Susan (Doug Cleland) Chandler of Westfield, NY, Kimberly (John) Buffone of Jamestown, NY, and Stephanie (Jim) Bukowski of Mayville, NY, one son, Scott (Jeni Jones) Chandler of Jackson, GA, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one brother, Charles Duane (Joan) Aldrich of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Albert and Enid Isabelle Beadle, one sister Susan Beadle, and two brothers, Carlton Beadle and Dennis Beadle.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 pm prior to the service, at the funeral home.
