WARREN- Shawn A. O'Shany, 29 of Warren PA, and formerly of Mayville, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his home in Warren, PA.
He was born July 30, 1988 in Grove City, PA, the son of John O'Shany and Debra Johnson Wiseman.
Shawn had been a machinist with Superior Grinding in Jamestown. He enjoyed fishing, his job and helping other people.
He is survived by a son; Aaron O'Shany of Elkin, NC, his parents; John O'Shany of Warren, PA, and Debra (Kevin) Johnson Wiseman of Westfield, two sisters; Amanda (Jonathan) Jarvis of Wilksboro, NC, Valerie Colburn of Brocton, one brother; Ryan Wiseman of Dunkirk, his grandparents; Pat and Connie Johnson of Mayville, and Betty Wiseman of Mayville two nephews; Andrew Boland and Christopher Colburn, and one niece; Lauren Jarvis.
Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents Max and Florence O'Shany and Walter Wiseman.
The funeral will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 at 3pm at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville (139 S. Erie St, Mayville, NY 14757). Rev. Dan Prewitt will officiate. Burial will be in Mayville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3PM prior to the funeral service on Friday.
