SHERMAN – Shelia M. Brink (Schruise) 59, of Morris Road, Sherman, NY passed into the arms of our Lord, Saturday (Nov. 5, 2016).
Shelia Brink was born April 29, 1957, in Jamestown, NY to the late Melvin and Maxine West Schruise.
She graduated from Southwestern Central School in 1975 and had previously been an Explorer Scout and in North Harmonies 4-H program.
She was previously employed at Mayville Pharmacy/Fays from 1988 to 1997. She started employment with Quality Markets in September 1997 and retired from Tops in 2016 due to health reasons.
She loved to be outside gardening or taking her dog for a walk. She was also an avid reader.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-four years and best friend, Douglas W. Brink who passed February, 2009 and her brother, Bill Schruise, who passed November 2013.
A Reflection Memorial Time will be held on Saturday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville from 2 to 4 pm.
