Steven C. ("Duck") Sprague, 71, of Mayville and N. Ft .Myers, FL, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, after a lengthy illness, at Chautauqua Rehab and Nursing Facility, Dunkirk, NY.

He was born Oct.3, 1947 to the late Willis W. Jr. and Thelma L. Sprague.

He was manager of Chautauqua County Federal Credit Union, Mayville, NY. until his retirement.

Steve was an enthusiastic sportsman, enjoying hunting, skeet/trap shooting, bow hunting, golf, and camping at  "Camp Booze 'N Snooze", owned by his long-time friend Ted H. He was a devoted Cleveland Indians fan and an avid cribbage player.
Duck was a long time member of the Conservation Club of Mayville, the VFW and the American Legion.

He is survived by one brother, Willis W.(Pamela) Sprague III, Parump, NV.; a son, Adam Sprague, of Haines City, FL.; a step-daughter, Heidi Westover of Haines City, FL. and two nieces, Heather(Brian) Ross, of Corfu, NY. and Melissa(Corey) Leone, of Dunkirk, NY.
No prior visitation, but friends are invited to a celebration of Steve's life on Sunday August 4 from 2-4 at the Mayville VFW post.
