WESTFIELD: Thea Elaine Ferguson Watkins, 65, of Westfield, NY, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home, with family by her side.
She was born August 17, 1952 in Westfield, NY, the daughter of the late Howard and June Hammond Ferguson.
Thea had been an Art Teacher for First Assembly Christian Academy in Erie, PA
She is survived by a daughter; Elyssa Elaine Watkins, a sister; Priscilla Stallsmith, a brother; John (Gloria) Ferguson, a brother in law; Cecil (Rue) Watkins, two sisters in law; Karen Sparks and Jacqueline Yates, one uncle; Donald (Beryl) Kurgan, two aunts; Zona Kurgan and Caroline Hunt, a niece; Rebecca (Christopher) Quirk, and one nephew; Scott Ferguson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Watkins Jr, whom she married June 19, 1993, her parents, a brother; Ray H. Ferguson and sister in law, June S. Ferguson.
There will be no visitation observed. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville, NY.
