DEWITTVILLE – Vivian G. Freeman, 88, of East Lake Road, Dewittville, died Monday (January 28, 2013) in Absolut of Westfield.
She was born October 6, 1924 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late William and Myrtle Mosher Robinson.
Vivian attended the Mayville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by four children, Vicki (Kim) Olson of Dewittville, Nancy (Ken) Burnett of Mayville, Jeffrey (Kathy) Freeman of Stockton, and Jay (Paulette) Freeman of Dewittville; ten grandchildren, Jennifer Jordan of Atlanta, GA, Ryan Olson of Dewittville, Christopher Olson of Dewittville, Kendrick Burnett of Lakeview, NY, Megan Johnson of Lakewood, NY, Tracy Freeman of Westfield, Heather Freeman of Cassadaga, Derek Saxton of Fredonia, Rose Bottomley of Mayville, and Martin Wentzel of Mayville; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Nelson of Dewittville, and Lucille Cochran of Sierra Vista, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert K. Freeman whom she married May 14, 1948 in Mayville, and who died October 1, 2010; two sisters, Lillian Sheffield and Ida Miller.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family, at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Rev. Mark Parsons of the Mayville United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
Visitation will not be observed.
