MAYVILLE – Wilda Marie Curtis, 78, of Potter Road, Mayville, died Saturday (June 29, 2013) at Absolut of Westfield.
She was born October 7, 1934 in Marienville, PA, the daughter of the late Craig and Mildred Covel Smith.
Wilda enjoyed riding her bicycle, cooking, and working in her yard.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick E. Curtis; seven children, Fred Curtis Jr. of Independence, KY, Charlie Curtis of Warren, PA, Darwinda Laughery of Corry, PA, Loretta Ruch of Westfield, Nichola (Nicky) Blair of Shippenville, PA, Russell Curtis Wicks of Dunkirk, and Larry Moore of Mayville; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Freay Funeral Home, Mayville. Rev. Timothy Phelps hospice chaplain will officiate. Burial will be in the Chautauqua Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday prior to the memorial service.
